Gold Christmas!

Hey folks, it's been a busy but fun day with a stampin class going on here!  Several ladies came over to make the fall cards I had ready for them.  Club member, Karen Eovaldi, was the lucky one to be hostess this month with the extra $25 in hostess benefits promotion!  She will be having an early Christmas!

After everyone left I worked on a card that I was inspired to make from a card I found on Pinterest.  Joanne Travis who has a blog called "sleepy in Seattle", posted a card similar to this one on her Pinterest page and I fell in love with it!  She used our brushed gold cardstock but I wanted to see what our gold foil sheets would look like.  I was not disappointed by the results!  I embossed the gold and whisper white layer with the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder.  I also used the Occasions piercing pack to outline the oval shape.  A linen thread bow tops off the gold embossed Ornament Keepsakes image.  All of this gold combined with a Cherry Cobbler base makes for one gorgeous Christmas card!

Hope you enjoyed my selection for the day!
