Colorful Seasons
This is a really nice card with soft colors! It is a swap from OnStage Live and features the Colorful Seasons Suite and the stitched framelets. If you haven't gotten the stitched framelets yet, you don't know what your missing. Notice the stitching around the focal point and how it just gives such a nice finish. Their are 4 each of squares, circles and ovals in the set and they coordinate with the other layering framelets. I don't have the card since it belonged to another in our group so I don't know who made it but I'll certainly be casing this!

Good Tidings Eclipse Technique
I've been wanting to do an Eclipse card since I saw it on Pinterest! Finally got the Good tidings set out along with my large letters framelets and had some fun. It's a really easy technique to do! Just stamp your card layer, then emboss with an embossing folder! Lay out the Framelet letters and run through the Bigshot! Put the letters back in the spaces they came from and pop up with dimensionals. I added some punched out holly leaves stamped with the leaves from the good tidings stamp. I stamped the "to the world" from Hearts Come Home on a strip of Whisper White and cut the corners with paper snips!
The inside is stamped with the greeting from the Good Tidings set and holly leaves and berries stamped randomly. I used Lemon Lime Twist and Pear Pizzazz ink for the leaves and Cherry Cobbler and Fresh Fig for the berries. Let me know what you think! Would you like to make this card?
Eclipse Technique
The first one is by Cindee Wilkinson and uses the cat punch and flower stamp from the Wood Words stamp set. Simply stamp all of your images and then punch out the cat and pop up with dimensionals!

Here's another great idea from Candi Roberts using the large letters framelets. The card is stamped with the marbled background set and the Ribbons of Courage from the annual catalog! What a great card to send to someone fighting the battle!

Painted Harvest Hedge Hog
Today I am borrowing a cute Christmas card that my upline found on Pinterest and redesigned! This is a unique use of the Painted Harvest stamp set to turn the flower into a hedge hog! The sentiments and snowflakes are from Snowflake Sentiments from the Holiday catalog. The little guys face is from the Cookie Cutter Christmas that carried over from last year! The DSP is from the 6x6 Quilted Christmas stack in the Holiday catalog. The ribbon is also from the quilted Christmas suite. The colors are Real Red, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Whisper White. You can make this adorable card at my next stamp class which I'm planning for Saturday, November 25th at 1pm and Monday, November 27th 1pm or 5 pm.
Carols of Christmas swap
I just returned from OnStage Live in Salt Lake City! What a great time seeing new products and catching up with old friends! I took a few swaps along for trade and ended up with some lovely new card ideas! Here's one from Dava Tutt using Carols of Christmas in Basic Black and Garden Green with a background of Whisper white. The base of the card is Crumb Cake and Merry Little Christmas DSP.
What a nice, clean simple card that could easily be taken to another level with rhinestones, Dazzling Diamonds or a wink of Stella!

Shutter Card!
Recently we had a downline meeting where one of my sister demos brought a shutter card for us to make at our shoebox swap! I was somewhat confused at first and thought it was too hard and would never make another one! One of my customers saw it and asked me to make a Christmas version! Well, the challenge was on! I checked out a video and the card dimensions and decided to take the challenge! It really wasn't that hard! I just chose the dsp that I thought would make a festive card front and matched it to a cherry cobbler card base! Then decided to jazz it up with gold glimmer paper. This card has a belly band so I used the holly punch to add some holly and a gold foil bow!
I chose another coordinating dsp for the inside and added sparkle with a gold glimmer paper scallop trim around the sentiment circle! Once again I added holly and a gold foil bow made withe holly punch!
I used garden green for the shutter pieces and cherry cobbler ink for the sentiment! I will take a look at my notes and add the dimensions on here at a later date! I'm having a rough day today since I seem to be having some allergy problems!

Christmas in July Card Buffet!
Get ready to make some Christmas cards and get a jump on the holidays! I'm offering the first class on July 18th at 6:00 pm at the Franklin county Home Extension office in Benton, il. The next class is on Saturday, July 22nd at 1:00 pm at my stamping trailer by my house! My club members will receive four cards free with additional projects for $2 ea. Placing an order of $35 will get all others four free projects with additional being $2. You can also make the projects for $2 each without placing an order!
