Embellished Ornaments

I am just in love with these great new ornament thinlet dies! When you use them with the new precision plate they are so easy to create.  The little pieces just pop out. When you run them through the big shot be sure to pass them back through to get a good cut.

This is a card I saw on Tami White's blog. One of her downline made it for a swap.  I think it is just gorgeous! The ornaments are cut from gold foil paper then layered over Black Glimmer paper. Who says Black Glimmer paper is just for Halloween!?

The million dollar card!

So, I call this the million dollar card because it's the card Stampin'Up! sent Patty Bennett when she reached one million dollars in personal sales!  It's so beautiful and I would love to case it!  Is anyone interested in making this card.  I'm trying to get back in the swing of things and start having classes again.  Who's ready to stamp?  Let me know!

Here are the finished Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper cards.  I just love this DSP!  The cards went together so easily.  I just added some butterflies from the beautiful wings Embosslit and a greeting! I used the matching stamp, Painted Petals, to stamp the inside of each card!  The DSP is also beautiful enough to frame! These are the cards we will make on the 19th and 21st.  I have one spot left for this class.  If you would like to do the class but missed it this time, then give me a call so we can set up another time for you!

Here are the details for the craft and vendor fair coming this Saturday.  I will have a table along with Tina Biby.  Come have some fun and stamp some cards!

Here's one of the cards we will be making using the reverse masking technique!  How fun and springlike.  However, our weather here in southern Illinois will not be springlike tomorrow with sleet and snow rolling in! Enough already!

February Stamp Class

Check out this neat birthday card with a 3D ice cream cone!  I used Balloon Bash and Big Day stamp sets.  You can earn the Big Day set for free with a $50 order during Sale A Bration.

Here's a fun technique called emboss resist.  If you been stamping for awhile, you've probably done this technique but if you haven't then you should learn this one!  This background sized stamp, Corner Garden, is new in the annual catalog this year.  Those little glimmer butterflies are silver and inked with Lost Lagoon ink.

This is a nice bright card that will help you use up your scraps!   Lots of bright colors here!
The stems and leaves are shapes from the bird builder punch.

I cased this card from a swap I received at leadership conference last month.  It features the new Butterfly Basics bundle!  How fun to cut these beautiful butterflies with the framelets and gold metallic cardstock. Use a butterfly cut out as a stencil to sponge gold ink onto this card!

Celebrate Your Big Day

I love this cute birthday card inspired by Stacey Lane's blog and Shelli on stage at leadership!  Shelli used the starred balloon stamp from Balloon Bash to stamp 6 balloons and punch them out with a 3/4 in circle punch.  She put them together with glue dots to make the ice cream in the cone!  The words are from the Sale A Bration set, Big Day, which you can get free for a limited time with a $50 merchandise order.  The paper is Birthday Bash speciality paper and gold foil.  I used the argyle embossing folder for the cone which I punched using the tree punch.  The little Cherry on top is from the cup cake builder punch and red glimmer paper!  The word and letters are colored with Blendabilities.

Leadership Swaps!

Can't believe this was already a week ago.  Carol and I enjoying sweet treats at Disney after our private showing of Fantasmic!  We were exhausted and sleep deprived after a quick trip down to Orlando!  She had gotten sick the day we were supposed to go so we felt lucky to be there!  We knew we could always sleep later!

While at Leadership, we managed to pick quite a few impressive swaps!  I'll try to share most of those with you over the coming days! Here's a great card using the new butterfly framelet!

How about this bright card!  Best Day Ever, a great stamp set for making exceptional cards!

Fun at Leadership 2015

It was quite a roller coaster ride getting to Orlando for the Leadership conference this year.  I always travel with my upline, Carol Payne.  She got sick the evening before we planned to leave so we thought we might have to cancel!  We ended up delaying our flights and leaving the next morning.  We hurried as much as we could and finally arrived at leadership during lunch on the first day!  In spite of all the problems we had a wonderful time.

Thursday night was Managers Reception.  This is a special event for those who have obtained the level of manager and are performing at that level.  We were bussed to the Disney World where we viewed a private showing of Disney's Fantasmic.  After that there were rides and lots of sweets!  I was ready for bed after this full day!

Shelli showed us how she used this baby bumble bee stamp during main session!  The cutest little stamp, now I must have it!

Well, it's off to bed with me!  I managed to come home with a sinus infection and need to get well so I can start planning our next class.

Happy stamping!
