Flower Patch Stair Step card

Wow, I am really loving these new photopolymer stamps!  The flower Patch set is so fun to stamp with especially since it has matching framelets.  It makes it so easy to create with it!  This beautiful card also sports the large Swallowtail butterfly background size stamp!  I stamped it with versamark and embossed with black embossing powder twice.  Then, I cut both butterflies out, colored and glued them back to back.  You can easily sponge color onto this butterfly to your liking to create a striking image!

Block Card

Just finished this cute little block card!  It's a case of a similar card by Deb Valder!  This adorable baby card folds flat to slip into an envelope.  It can also hold a gift card, money or a check for a shower gift.  The basic card is easy to make and can be decorated for any occasion!  The words are from the great new set "something to Say" and the baby shapes from "Something for Baby".  I also used the matching framelets to cut out these cute little shapes!

Screen Card with Perfect Peacock

Wow, loving this screen card made with the new Perfect Peacock and Sweet Briar Rose, both new stamps in the catalog!  The card is easy to make.  You will need a piece of 12x12 cardstock.  I will provide some instructions for this card in an upcoming post and will also offer it at class in August.

Cowgirl Yippee-Skippee

Do you have any cowgirls on your birthday card list?  If so, here's the perfect card by Lisa Young from the Stampin'Up! Website!  She used the Bootiful Occasions stamp set (Clear$17.95) and colored it with the Blendabilities markers and then cut the boots out and popped them up with dimensionals on a little square embossed with the arrows embossing folder.  The stamped star is from the Perfect Pennants stamp set.  Some rhinestones and linen thread add a finishing touch to this delightful card!

What an adorable, festive birthday ensemble that I found on the Stampin'Up! Website!  This little rhino is from the Zoo Babies set and the greeting is from the Geometrical set.  It appears that the artist has used the largest circle punch and some window sheet to create a shaker card!  The banner is made with the banner framelets and the cute little birthday hat is cut out from the Sketched Birthday set.

Perfect Peacock

Here I go working on another Perfect Peacock card.  I am really enjoying playing with this new stamp.  This time I've embossed the bird with black embossing powder and colored it in with the new Blendabilities markers.  This was so fun and easy!  The light picks up the embossing and you can see the rich colors of these new markers!

I'm planning to incorporate this panel in a card design that I've been seeing around the stamping blogs!  Hoping for more stamping time tomorrow!

                              

Graduation Owl

Here's a cute little graduation card that uses the owl builder punch.  A friend of my upline, Carol Payne, stamped this card!  She added wings to the little owl by cutting a scalloped circle in half.  How about those glasses that make this look like a wise old owl!  He even has a little diploma in his hand!

Here's a close up of the little guy!  Notice his vest is embossed with perfect polka dots!  Love this card and it's definitely some easy stampin!
