Tiny Easter Basket!

Is this not the cutest little Easter basket you ever saw?  This is another project that is showing up a lot on the stamping blogs!  I don't know what I did before I discovered all the blogs and how to use google to search for projects!  This is an easy project to make and you can learn how when you come stamp with me this Saturday!

I'm thinking about offering another class for the basket and 2 fun fold cards since a few people have expressed interest in the class but can't make it this weekend!

Card in a Box!

There are a bunch of these adorable card in a box versions going around on the stamping blogs!  They are not hard to make, you just need the dimensions and a little imagination and the possibilities are endless!  I've been wanting to use my Backyard Basics for awhile and this was the perfect project! I love the colors in the wonderful watercolor designer paper.  They really make a bright springtime card.

I'm glad to have the bright ink colors to remind me of spring since our ground is once again covered with snow!

This is one of the cards we will make Saturday at the fun folds card class!  Come on over for some stamping fun!

Wonderful Washi Tape!

I found a couple of great cards on my upline's blog using Washi tape!  She doesn't mind if I use her photos so I thought I would show you how easy it is to create beautiful cards with Washi tape.  The first one uses the Retro Fresh Washi tape and some sequins from the occasions catalog.  Everything is color coordinated from the ink to the cardstock to the Washi tape!  That's what makes it so fun and easy to stamp with Stampin'Up! Products!  It all matches!

Here's another version of the card using the Gingham Garden Washi Tape!  Daffodil Delight is the main color here and makes this a perfect spring card!

Water Coloring!

Here's a lovely card from the Stampin' Up! customer page.  This appears to be the water color technique of stamping and spritzing!  Ink up your stamp with your stamp pad, then spritz lightly with a water bottle, then stamp.  It's an easy technique that gives that water colored effect!  It's a beautiful card and I'd like to go make it right now.......but oh my, so many stamps, so little time!

Sale-A-Bration will be over in a couple of weeks so don't miss out on those freebies and the chance to purchase the starter kit with an extra $25 in product in it!  Call me for help or further info at 618-559-3785 and also go to www.lindareaney.stampinup.net

Fun Fold Oh Happy Day!

Looking back at my upline's blog, I discovered this delightful card that she made about a month ago!  I'm hoping to find motivation enough to recreate this card since she was kind enough to make a tutorial for it!   Love, love this cheerful designer paper, Birthday Basics!  Would anyone like to make this card with me?

She made a special envelope using the envelope punch board!  Adorable!

I love the warm colors of this "Thinking of You" card that I cased from Patty Bennett!  The flowers are punched from the Wonderful Watercolor Designer Series Paper and Tangerine Tango cardstock.  The stamp set is Gifts of Kindness.  The punches are the Pansy, Petite Petals and the little scallop circle from the punch pack. Beautiful Butterfly Thank You!

I'm really getting in the mood for spring cards, now!  I browsed around Pinterest and found this color combo that I liked!  I used Elegant Eggplant, So Saffron and Coastal Cabana with matching coastal cabana stretch ribbon to dress this card up!    The butterfly is cut with the Beautiful Butterfly Bigz die.  The technique is emboss resist.  I used the So Very Grateful stamp set and versamark to stamp the flowers on the Whisper White layer.  Then I sprinkled clear embossing powder over the versamarked images and melted with the heat tool.  The fun part is next!  Use sponges to apply the matching ink colors over the images and watch them appear!  Add a strip of basic rhinestones and you have an easy stampin' card that can be used for almost any occasion! I used the Thank You from the So Very Grateful set!

Gold Butterflies!

Wow, this has got to be the easiest card I've made in some time!  I cased it from a swap that my upline received at leadership this year.  The card base and layer are Very Vanilla with two strips of the gorgeous wonderful watercolor Washi tape across the lower edge.  The Elegant Butterfly Punch was used to punch through the Washi tape.  Then a Bitty Butterfly punched from gold foil paper is placed in the middle of the butterfly shape.  I used the Happy Birthday from Sketched Birthday stamped in gold Encore ink for the sentiment but this card could be easily changed to a get well or thank you!  Definitely an easy stampin' card!  if you would like to make this card come to my class on Saturday, March 15 at 1:00pm.

Spiral Flower Die!

The creepin crud continues to circulate through our family!  Now my daughter has a stomach bug!  Just hoping that my granddaughter and I don't catch this latest "disease" as she calls it!  I was finally able to get everyone settled and return to my stamp room for a little while.  I made this vintage looking Crisp Canteloupe and Baked Brown Sugar card.  I took inspiration from a beautiful card by Nicky Dexter.  I did change a few things just to make it easier for my stampers to recreate it.  Hoping to include this card in my next stamping class.

Weekly Deals!

Hey there, I've not been doing too much the past few days due to a bug that has gotten hold of me!  I went to the dr and thought I had control of things but even while on an antibiotic I've come down with a sinus infection!  Of course, all of the snow and ice hasn't helped the situation either!  It was not a great way to spend my birthday but I plan to get out a little today and celebrate when the weather warms up!  It helped getting lots of birthday wishes on Facebook, gifts from my daughter and granddaughter and receiving beautiful flowers from my son and his wife who live in Georgia!

I can't wait for warmer weather when I can plant flowers and garden, even if it does mean fighting bugs and wiping sweat!

In the meantime, here's the wonderful weekly Stampin'Up! Special!   Grab some of these great deals while you can!  Go to www.lindareaney.stampinup.net and shop my online store and join the fun by buying the starter kit while you get an extra $25 in product!  Message me with questions for help ordering or signing up!
