A pair of easy stampin cards!

Here's another cute onesie baby card using the wonderful watercolor designer paper.  It's finished off with the scallop circle and artisan punch!  Just the cutest thing ever!

This card uses the six sided sampler stamp set with matching hexagon punch and pansy punch.  What a beautiful bright combination of daffodil delight and pacific point!  Notice that the envelope is lined to match the card!  Do you have your envelope liner framelets yet?

Hexagon Hive thinlet!

Three beautiful cards made with the Hexagon Hive thinlet die from the occasions catalog.  The first two were made by Carol Payne.  She also used the new Hardwood background stamp before cutting with the thinlet die.  She used the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die and the bird builder punch for some extra embellishments.

The little flowers are made with the petite petals stamp set and coordinating punch.

Here's a neat card I found on the Stampin'Up! Website.  The artist has used only a portion of the cutout and added some crushed curry hexagons and a cute little bee from the Backyard Basics stamp set and matching framelets!

Shoebox Swap!

In January, we had a downline shoebox swap.  We had lots of great cards to make and had a great time catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones!  Here's one of the cards.

Martha Swift created a card with two options using the Regarding Dahlias stamp set, Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Folder, 3/16" Corner Rounder Punch, Encore Gold Metallic ink, and Gold Foil Paper. You could make this portrait version using the Starburst Framelits to cut the flower layers.

Love this black and gold on white color combo!

Oh, how pretty are these little thank you notes!  Petal Parade is a free a Sale A Bration stamp set as is that pretty bakers twine seen here!  The petite petals and bird builder punch leaves add just the right touch!  I've got to get my Petal Parade set out and make some of these and other great cards I've seen created with it!

Emboss resist!

Look at this lovely card I borrowed from my upline!  This is the emboss resist technique with the Flower Shop stamp set.  This is an easy and fun technique.  Simply emboss your images on whisper white or very vanilla with clear embossing powder and then sponge the desired ink color over the embossed area.  Finish with a sentiment on a little banner or other shape popped up with a dimensional.  The background of this card is stamped with the Flower Shop set and then dry embossed with the wood grain embossing folder.  The burlap ribbon is a nice addition to this great card!

You're Lovely!

What a bright pretty card I found on the Stampin'Up! Website!  It uses a combination of punches and framelets with 2 of the Sale A Bration stamp sets.  Petal Parade and You're Lovely are only available by purchasing $50 in merchandise during the Sale A Bration promotion!  Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight make a great combination that remind me of summer!  Not a bad thing in the middle of this cold, cold winter!

Twizzler Arrows!

I received one of these as a swap at Leadership this past January and thought it was so cute!  I used the full heart punch and some retired designer paper to make the point of the arrow and the Chevron punch and black cardstock to make the other end of the arrow.  I stamped Happy Valentines Day from Teeny Tiny Wishes on whisper white and punched it out with the modern label punch.  These are so easy that my 5 Year old granddaughter helped me put them together!  We are making a bunch of these so she can take them to daycare and her pre-k class!

Inspiration from Shelli!

This card is inspired by one that Shelli Gardner showed on stage at convention last summer!  It's not exactly like hers but has the same general layout!  I think it's very vintage and delicate looking and hope you like it as much as I do! Notice the delicate vellum butterfly behind the little punched butterfly!   I plan to offer it at my card class this Saturday.  Hope you'll come stamp with us!

I found this card by Jan Tink several months ago and knew I wanted to make it immediately!  It's easily done with some white embossing powder, sponges and several rainbow colors of ink!  The Wildflower Meadow background stamp makes a beautiful scene.

Snow Day Stampin!

A friend asked me to make a get well card for a young boy so I searched the internet for inspiration.  I wasn't disappointed!  I wonder what we did before the all the blogs were out there!  I can't remember now!

This was definitely an easy stampin card because it was so easy to put together!  I ran a piece of the Early Espresso Core'dinations cardstock through the Bigshot with the wood grain embossing folder and then sanded it with the sanding block.  I punched a circle with the 1 3/8" circle punch so the owl would have a place to hang out!  Of course the owl is made with the owl builder punch.  I used Tempting Turquoise cardstock for the card base.  The sentiment is from the delightful dozen stamp set.

Owl punch

Oh my, I really love this card!  I copied it from the Artisan team card that I posted on here recently!  I used the Sassy Salutations "Thinking of You".  The white layer is cut from the new Hexagon Hive framelet in the Occasions catalog!  The next layer is the Happy Watercolor designer paper, also, from the Occasions catalog.  If you would like to make this card, come to my next card class on February 15th!

Baby Boy Card!

I love this cute onesie baby card!  I saw one on a website last week and was inspired to create this for a friend who needs a baby card!  I've made this card before in pink for girls!  This was a bit of a challenge not to make it too girlie!  So, instead of using the scallop circle to trim the arm, leg and neck openings, I used the 1 3/8" and 1 3/4" circle punches to make the edgings.

I spotted this beautiful card by Lisa Rhine on the Stampin'Up! Website this afternoon!  I will definitely be trying to make this card!  This is the new Hexagon Hive thinlet die from the Occasions catalog and the petite petals punch.  The sentiment is from the Happy Watercolor stamp set.  I love those little sponged flowers with pearl centers!  It's some easy stampin' too!  Nothing about this card is difficult for even a beginner to accomplish!

Leadership board!

I've been looking back through my photos from leadership and found some gems to share with you!  The tulips are from Blessed Easter combined with Happy Watercolor from the Ocasions catalog.  The background is embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder.  A beautifully stamped card!
