October online Christmas cards

Hey there, I'm working hard to get caught up after the recent set backs including a computer hard drive crash and an unexpected death in the family!  Yesterday was a trip to the oral surgeon with my 92 year old mother to get a tooth pulled.  So, finally here are the cards you will be receiving in the mail this month for your $35 online order.  The hostess code is dhnhmfp3. Look at his positively adorable card I found on the Stampin'Up! Blog today!  Loving this winter scene created with the "White Christmas" photopolymer set from the holiday catalog!  I am definitely going to have to add this set to my collection!

Owl Treat Bags

Oh, the things you can find on the web!  Look at these cute owl treat bags I found on scrapthisandthat.com!  Mine are slightly different but there are instructions there for bags and cards with different critters on them. I'm making them for an upcoming vendor fair at the old Mulkeytown Grade  School.

These cute little guys are made with the top note Bigz die, 1", 3/4", 1 3/8" 2 1/2" circle punches, 1 3/4" scallop circle, full heart (retired punch but we have a new heart punch that would work) and a small heart punch. I also used the chalk marker for the white spot in the eyes.  A little snail and a few dimensionals and they are ready to fill with treats for your favorite trick or treater or a birthday party!

Online Christmas Card Club

Club Details:

• Four month Club: September -  December 2014.
• First of the month: I will post three  card designs (two each of 3 different designs) on my blog and via email, including supply lists.
• By the 10th of the month, place your order of at least $35 in my Online Store using the Hostess Code I will post. Order ships direct to you.(unless you have made other arrangements to pick up your order locally)

• Around the 12th of the month, I will post card instructions on my blog. Everyone can view theses, but only club members will receive kits.
• Around the 15th of the month you will receive a mailed packet containing pre-cut cardstock, embellishments, envelopes, and detailed instructions.
• NOTE: December's class will be gift tags, gift-card holders, and thank-you's.

Mixed Bunch and Blendabilities

Check out this card that my upline created!  She white embossed the mixed bunch flowers on black cardstock and then colored with the Blendabilities markers.  She used the Blossom punch to punch them out! Wow! What a great card!  She used Cherry Cobbler and Pumpkin Pie, for the flowers, how yummy, makes me hungry, and then daffodil Delight to color her paper clay flower!  Of course, that is Stampin' Up! too!  Paper clay and flower molds are wonderful and now we have the alcohol markers to color them in beautiful colors!

Kinda Eclectic

Today's card is a case of a card by Linda Den Besten which was posted on Create with Ronda. My colors and overall arrangement are a little different than hers.  I used many of the same stamp sets, Kinda Eclectic Gorgeous Grunge, Everything Eleanor and Pappilon Potpouri and added a Happy Birthday greeting from Petite Pairs.  My main colors are Calypso Coral and Crisp Canteloupe, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow.  The butterflies are sponged with Marina Mist.  I really like the sunshine stamp image which I stamped with Hello Honey and sponged with Daffodil Delight!  I think it's just a very nice late summer card!

Just couldn't resist showing this wonderful picture of my son, Scott and his wife, Amanda on their wedding day 2 years ago.  He is stationed at Ft Stewart in George where he is a physicians assistant for the Army.  Amanda is also a PA and works for the state of Georgia.  I love this picture!

Flower Patch Stair Step card

Wow, I am really loving these new photopolymer stamps!  The flower Patch set is so fun to stamp with especially since it has matching framelets.  It makes it so easy to create with it!  This beautiful card also sports the large Swallowtail butterfly background size stamp!  I stamped it with versamark and embossed with black embossing powder twice.  Then, I cut both butterflies out, colored and glued them back to back.  You can easily sponge color onto this butterfly to your liking to create a striking image!

Block Card

Just finished this cute little block card!  It's a case of a similar card by Deb Valder!  This adorable baby card folds flat to slip into an envelope.  It can also hold a gift card, money or a check for a shower gift.  The basic card is easy to make and can be decorated for any occasion!  The words are from the great new set "something to Say" and the baby shapes from "Something for Baby".  I also used the matching framelets to cut out these cute little shapes!

Cowgirl Yippee-Skippee

Do you have any cowgirls on your birthday card list?  If so, here's the perfect card by Lisa Young from the Stampin'Up!
